A Mammoth Declaration

Mammoth Insulation can now declare itself Red List Free.

When you’re building a new home or office you want to know that the building materials are safe and won’t impact on the health of occupants. Now we can Declare Mammoth insulation is free of Red List materials!

Mammoth insulation is a soft, non-toxic, high performance insulation that now gives you even greater confidence with Declare labeling. The Mammoth range has just become the first polyester insulation products in the world with Declare labeling for the Living Building Challenge.

The Living Building Challenge™ is a building certification program defining the most advanced measure of sustainability in the built environment today and they have developed a Red-List of prohibited materials. Declare provides transparency around building products with a self-disclosure program that results in an “ingredients listing” in the form of Declare labels which are available on their global database as well as our website.

Declare’s Red List Free products are shown to be free from Red List materials including: mercury, cadmium, formaldehyde (added), chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), halogenated flame retardants, lead and more.

To achieve the highest certification status under the Living Building Challenge’s Declare programme is a great success and can give all new home and building owners confidence that Mammoth truly is Modern Insulation. To learn more about the Living Building Challenge or talk to your architect.

Mammoth polyester insulation is manufactured by InZone Industries Ltd (prev InsulPro Manufacturing Ltd). Both Mammoth residential insulation and commercial insulation now have Declare labelling for the Living Building Challenge and together are the world’s first Red List Free polyester insulation.
