New wall and ceiling insulation products with higher R-Values
The thermal envelope requirements of New Zealand homes remain significantly lower than international standards and there is ongoing discussion on the need to raise R-values.
Increasingly government agencies and housing companies are pursuing Homestar 6 and greater to create new homes with thermal ratings above the minimum building code and MBIEis currently consulting on the degree to which minimum R Values in the building code are raised.
Reflecting this trend to higher R-value products, Mammoth is proud to introduce two new products that push the envelope for polyester insulation:
These two new products give architects and designers more options to achieve greater Homestar ratings. Mammoth skillion and wall sections are also friction fitted and will hold in place without strapping or fixings.
