Mammoth™ modern insulation is manufactured by InsulPro - a New Zealand owned and operated manufacturer of polyester thermal and acoustic insulation - supplying the local New Zealand market and export markets with a range of insulation products for the home or commercial building.
We have manufacturing facilities in Auckland and Milton, near Dunedin, and are backed by a team of experts.
Mammoth polyester insulation products help create warmer, healthier, more energy efficient environments which helps to improve people’s health in addition to reducing carbon emissions. Our thermal and acoustic insulation products are designed to maximise thermal performance across the construction system and products independently tested proved to outperform their product R-values.
We take fibre made from plastic bottles, which would otherwise be waste, and manufacture the fibre from the bottles into polyester insulation that creates warmer, healthier homes and buildings.
The Mammoth thermal and acoustic insulation range is made from 100% polyester fibre. Polyester is made from a substance called PET, which is what plastic bottles are made from. Another benefit is that PET can easily be recycled. Plastic bottles made from PET can be washed and ground up into flakes, heated and then extruded into polyester fibre. This is how the recycled fibre used by InsulPro is made.
