Description

Mammoth wall insulation is a soft polyester blanket in roll form - ideal for commercial buildings.

Mammoth® wall insulation is available in two forms: blankets and wall sections. Mammoth wall blankets are rolls of lofted 100% polyester insulation designed to be stapled to the top dwang to fit snugly between wall studs in residential and commercial building projects. They are ideally suited to long unimpeded wall cavities including steel framed walls.

Mammoth wall insulation is made from heat-bonded polyester fibres that are moisture resistant and won't sag or settle over time. See also Mammoth Wall Sections and Mammoth Masonry Wall Sections which are self-supporting for a superior fit.

Mammoth products contain recycled polyester fibres. Mammoth wall blanket insulation uses up to 5,600 recycled plastic bottles per 100sqm*.

50 Year Warranty
Mammoth Insulation has a 50 year warranty. Our product warranty covers that - so long as the insulation is installed correctly and remains adequately protected - Mammoth insulation will perform for 50 years. The warranty applies only to 100% polyester insulation products manufactured by InZone Industries Ltd and not to other composite products manufactured by InZone. Q&A/FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS



Mammoth Polyester Wall Blanket is typically produced on a carding plant which results in a softer, less rigid form of insulation. It can be torn to length to fit in wall insulation cavities - usually stapled into position.

In contrast all Mammoth Wall Insulation sections are produced on New Zealand's only Airlay insulation plant which is capable of producing a semi-rigid section when cut to size allows for a seamless, crease-free friction fit for a superior thermal installation.

Wall blanket is a more affordable format but relies on a greater level of expertise to ensure the installation is seamless, crease-free without gaps.

Wall systems using Airlay Wall Insulation Sections have been independently proved to deliver thermal performance above those in the BRANZ House Insulation Guide.

It is however great care must be taken when stapling into position. It is important when installing insulation that you minimise gaps, compression and do not stretch the material. A smooth crease free finish is needed to maximise performance.
